This position will act as G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. liaison with client, law enforcement agencies, customers, and employees. The Account Manager is also responsible for providing management oversight and driving operational accountability through effective change management and leadership development processes. This position is responsible for managing the Supervisors and will have oversight of policy and procedure implementation, as well as maintaining current and updated procedures and record keeping.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Provide supervision to security personnel (e.g., oversee customer relations, ensure Physical Security Surveys and post orders are updated regularly, and review disciplinary actions for consistency and propriety)
  • Implement standard security operations at their site, and ensure compliance through constant supervision
  • Inventory and request necessary equipment to perform security functions
  • Coordinate with HR personnel on recruiting efforts
  • Maintain overtime to a preset requirement designated by G4S
  • Coordinate day to day security operations and manage, train, and assess security personnel performance with assistance and direction by the site and G4S Management
  • From time to time, will monitor CCTV’s for unauthorized vandalism and removal of property; review and report accidents; file reports in accordance to company and/or the site guidelines and expectations
  • Provide monthly report to the facilities and corporate security organizations; detailing all pertinent activities that have occurred in the previous month concerning any security and safety issues
  • Administer G4S Safety Program; semi-annually review and revise the security Emergency Response plan
  • Conduct Regional Site Surveys as needed
  • Conduct regional Security Audits 
  • Maintain key cross functional relationships with internal customers


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in security or protective service-related field
  • Prior supervisory/management experience in security or protective service-related field
  • Experience supervising personnel and resources for the successful operation of a 911-Center and/or Central Station Operation (SOC) that is centered around the use of technology

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Applications
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Environment:  Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat

Major activity:  Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Standing, walking, and sitting.  Minimal to no stooping or kneeling
