In this position, you will be responsible for supervising the day to day security operations of an assigned client site. You will work on special projects or security programs, manage a team of Security officers, and site and shift supervisors. Your duties include the hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll reporting, training, coaching, development and support of the team. You will also ensure that the client's site is provided with high quality security services to protect its people and property, and also build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees. In addition, you will ensure all required reporting and contract compliance are met, handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately, and ensure all shift assignments are completed.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Communicate staffing needs via requisition form; assist in hiring qualified candidates
  • Develop and maintain site specific post orders
  • Reconcile security logs; review incident reports prior to submitting to client; coordinate preliminary investigations
  • Maintain and manage inventory of all uniforms and equipment utilized at the site
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction; communicate with client on security issues regularly
  • Ensure compliance with all security performance and deliverables around the clock
  • Administer site safety program, worker's compensation and risk management programs as appropriate
  • Participate in unemployment hearings
  • Produce reports and to include scheduling and staffing, payroll/billing and training reports
  • Enforce G4S policies and procedures
  • Prepare/manage annual budget and meet account financial goals including gross profit, overtime and payroll accuracy, and employee retention or turnover
  • Assist our client's Management with rate increases, billing management and accounts receivable
  • Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Perform other duties as requested by our client's Facilities Management


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must possess a college degree in business administration, criminal justice or related field

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • A minimum of two (2) years in either business management, operations or supervisory role
  • A minimum of one (1) year security experience in a corporate environment

  • Must be at least 18 years old as required by the client contractor
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
  • Upon acceptance of a job offer, must be able to pass the following:
    • MMPI - Psychological testing
    • Physical exam

Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat
