Job Introduction:

G4S  UAE is currently looking for an experienced Sales Director based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.  Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing  the Sales function of the organization by giving strategic sales, marketing and business development guidance and direction to the Sales team, Corporate and Divisional management teams and staff to ensure that UAE business achieves its sales revenue targets, financial goals and objectives.  He/she will  create an environment where the Sales team can operate with the highest standards of integrity,  champions safety culture and actively contributes to the development of key policies or guidelines where appropriate.

Role Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement a Sales and Business Development strategy and annual Sales Plan to ensure revenue targets are achieved or exceeded.

  • Develop and implement robust sales processes and ensure appropriate sales capability is maintained within the business to deliver the GET, GROW and KEEPrevenue targets.

  • Identification of new business opportunities through a variety of sources, including, but not limited to, market analysis, consultation with operational management, planned prospecting, leads, cold-calling, tender notices.

  • Identify and develop new initiatives to improve the scope, range and quality of services provided by the company and to ensure responsiveness to demands and changes in the external environment.

  • Develop and implement sales and commercial policies and procedures to ensure the effective promotion and marketing of the company across all sectors and market segments to meet business objectives.

  • Oversee research into new and established markets to develop products and services that meet evolving market demands and that are consistent with the company’s corporate strategy.

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with both prospective and existing customers that contribute to the achievement of revenue targets and corporate objectives.

  • Develop and maintain effective communications with Divisional Leads to maintain up-to-date awareness of the company’s delivery capabilities and maintain a fully utilised workforce.

  • Externally, promote and represent the interests of the company at board level, including to government, key accounts and industry bodies.

  • Monitor sales performance of the competitors to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position.

  • Ensure effective marketing and selling of the company’s integrated security solutions.

  • Lead and negotiate key strategic major bids to ensure optimal win-rate and beneficial commercial / risk terms.

  • Develop and implement effective key account management processes and capability in the business.

  • Ensure that pricing, risk and commercial contract terms are appropriately applied and that price increase strategies are developed and applied.

  • Involvement in national accounts including regional “outbound” activity for Multinational Corporations

  • Ensure appropriate customer measures and KPI's are maintained in the business.

  • Lead all NPS activities and ensure appropriate response to feedback received is completed

  • Ensure the Salesforce database is accurate and up-to-date at all times.


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or any related field from a reputable university, MBA is a plus 

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a sales leadership role with proven ability leading people and teams to deliver successful results

  • Proven track record of success in driving consistent sales activity, pipeline development and quota achievement.

  • Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills

  • Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills 

  • Solid understanding of the market
