G4S Health Services has been one of the leading providers to all justice health environments since 2005. Working across Secure, Custody and Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARC) across the UK, we provide primary care and forensic healthcare to a wide range of patients.

We are recruiting for a Rota Coordinator to join our team in Chelmsford

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30

Location: Chelmsford CM1 1GU​

Job Outline: You will be responsible for the administrative and operational functions for all Custody Health Rota’s. You will also need to assist other
departments if required in any additional administration or project work, to support the development and successful operation of service. To assist Rota
administration activities, monitoring work and providing support to colleagues in different departments.

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential Skills:

  • Strong customer service
  • Able to analyse and interpret data
  • IT literate: MS Office, (able to create, analyse and interpret and data)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a wider team

Desirable Skills:

  • Able to use CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system or similar
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel


This role requires the ability to work with vulnerable, frail people, who may be distressed or experiencing pain, in a caring and compassionate way. A Criminal Records Bureau check will therefore be required to exclude any individual with a history of criminal behaviour which could be considered unacceptable (by G4S or the clients) in a patient care environment. Safety is of paramount importance and the post holder must ensure that safe systems of work are followed without compromise.  The post holder needs to be committed to maintaining high standards of customer care and service delivery.
