Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Provide timely communications and actionable intelligence to support the protection of people, assets/intellectual property, and infrastructure of center and related interests/entities
  • Constantly evaluating established standards and new threats to ensure adequate protection of company assets
  • Watch for irregular or unusual security conditions that may be cause for security concerns or safety hazards affecting client facilities, employees, and travelers
  • Create and maintain operational reports for KPIs and weekly and monthly metrics
  • Adeptly identify and evaluate sources of information for validity and relevance to reduce uncertainty and fill knowledge gaps
  • Perform initial risk assessment on new threats and vulnerabilities, perform assessment phase of Vulnerability and Threat Management process
  • Identify and communicate daily all critical items requiring the attention of management and coordinate with other analysts to provide necessary documentation in support of client needs
  • Gather information from multiple open source intelligence sites using a variety of web based tools
  • Establish relationships with internal and external partners to drive awareness and impact of intelligence programs across company
  • Perform record input utilizing the Microsoft Office package to include Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word or similar programs
  • Participate in daily and ad-hoc conference calls as well as compliance and controls, self- assessment processes, and documentation related tasks
  • Follow procedures established for the site, by the company, and/or through training or certifications
  • Comply with and facilitate the conduct of the daily routine in the SOC
  • Monitor incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, hazardous materials, inclement weather, workplace violence, and other security related incidents or conditions
  • Maintain awareness/knowledge of the current international climate, specifically where it affects the client
  • Communicate through a variety of channels including e-mail, instant messaging, phone, etc
  • Operate radio, telephone equipment, multi-channel communication systems, and/or console monitors
  • Follow pre-defined actions to handle normal course of business and high severity issues including escalating to other support groups
  • Execute daily ad hoc tasks or lead small projects

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree in National Security, Criminal Justice, Journalism, International Affairs, History, or related field
    • A minimum of one (1) year of verifiable, security or intelligence analysis experience
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for employment
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience in each of the following:
    • National Security, Military Intelligence, Criminal Intelligence Analysis, Corporate Intelligence Analysis, or a related field
    • Demonstrating the research, evaluation, and integration of source data in the preparation and presentation of intelligence analytical products
  • Must have excellent professional thinking, writing, and briefing skills;
  • Must have demonstrated proficiency in each of the following:
    • Clearly communicating highly technical security concepts to non-security audiences in business terms
    • Analytical expertise necessary to accurately draw conclusions by synthesizing raw data and information from multiple unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product
    • Ability to develop metrics, perform critical analysis, identify threats, and develop leadership decision support content
    • Ability to independently and efficiently handle multiple time sensitive projects, rapid change, and ambiguity while maintaining the highest analytical standards and direct contact with intelligence consumers, including making challenging judgment calls in the absence of senior leaders
  • Able to produce high quality detailed documentation to internal and external parties while managing sensitive or confidential information
  • Deep understanding of current global threat dynamics and trends, including—but not limited to—violent extremism, terrorism, geopolitical risk, cyber threats, and criminal activity particularly regarding the manufacturing industry
  • Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:         Office, minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures

Major activity:        Working on PC and using telephone/radio while sitting and standing. Listening and observing.

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:      Standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
