Job Introduction:

G4S Risk Consulting is seeking a talented analyst to join its team to support a key customer.


The successful candidate will possess a strong academic background and professional experience in security and/or political risk. The candidate will have outstanding clarity of thought, analytical process and judgment to produce work to a very high standard for the benefit of our client.

Role Responsibility:

Role Responsibilities

Conduct intelligence collection, analysis and production activities in line with the security and threat priorities of the customer, a global sporting organisation

Production of risk assessments for events and activities for use by senior decision makers

Production of open source intelligence

Production of daily security briefings

Manage diverse customer intelligence requests for support

Production of ad-hoc incident analysis

Coordinate and manage information data collection activities

Develop risk assessment and intelligence processes as customer priorities evolve

Develop contract-specific intelligence database

Maintain accurate administration for personal, department and company documentation

Attend customer meetings as a subject-matter expert

If required, contribute to delivery of G4S Intelligence & Advisory Services products

The Ideal Candidate:




  • Educated to at least Master’s degree level in a relevant subject-matter such as international relations or security studies or equivalent
  • Eligible to work within the UK



  • Security Risk Management Level 4 City & Guilds
  • Prince2
  • Familiarity with identifying and assessing threats and risks to the sports industry



  • At least 3 years’ experience as a political or security risk analyst in a commercial organisation or public sector body
  • Strong technical knowledge of intelligence cycles and methodologies and experience of applying these in the private sector
  • In-depth research skills and able to interpret large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data                  
  • Experience of working with and building relationships with police or security agencies
  • Demonstrable and extensive experience collecting, analysing and producing intelligence to senior decision-makers
  • Demonstrable experience of producing work to tight deadlines and planning workloads
  • Demonstrable experience working within a busy commercial/corporate environment



  • Capable of responding to requests for intelligence support and delivering assessments to a high standard consistently.
  • Proven IT skills in Microsoft Office programmes
  • Ability to write clearly, concisely, and authoritatively to tight deadlines
  • Excellent editorial skills and quality control
