As an Operations Support Manager, you will directly supports a variety of tasks and activities conducted primarily within a specified region of field locations, to include acting as a liaison for offices with various G4S departments and/or divisions in matters including operations, administration, policies and/or procedures.  In addition, the Operations Support Manager provides support to special projects, disaster/emergency response, major job transitions, as directed by the Vice President of Operations.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Provide operational support for all offices within assigned Region
  • Support special projects, major job transitions and disaster / emergency responses
  • Act as client/employee liaison during special/emergency services, to include materials acquisition; travel arrangements;  arrange for and issue per diem payments; interface with field office(s) involved; authorize expenditures to limits established by Headquarters
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Interface with HQ departments on behalf of individual offices to meet their mission requirements of revenue and profit growth
  • Carry out other projects as directed by the Vice President of Operations
  • Oversee daily workload and assignment of short-term direct/indirect reports within the region for startups, Health Care training, etc.
  • Identify, escalate and implement best practices across the region
  • Audit support, preparing offices for audits or repairing them after audit has left
  • SecureTrax set up and oversight
  • Support operational excellence training for all offices in the region. Ops Support managers will conduct consistency training for operations and customer service
  • Oversee and enforce 90-day control plan after each start up to monitor operational compliance and or commitments
  • Support action plans for Sat matrix scores, results

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of management level experience in a multi-location business environment, a significant portion of which in the security industry

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail


  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Must possess above average analytical skills
  • Must possess experience and/or exposure to continuous improvement methodologies
  • Must be willing and able to travel without limitations as required
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:         Office; indoor with minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures expected

Major activity:        Working on PC while sitting; telephone use

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:      Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching, and reaching
