Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Project management: provide supervision to the Emergency Management and Security Operations Directors; oversee disciplinary processes; oversee the staffing of security officers to ensure efficient scheduling is in place; oversee that contract-required training and screening elements for security officers have been met, quality assurance and contract compliance; manage excessive overtime; typing correspondence, developing spreadsheets and memorandums; oversee records maintenance processes per G4S, client, and Joint Commission requirements; inventory and purchase all G4S equipment
  • Ensure that the planned profitability of all services is realized by utilizing sound financial management principles and continual review of appropriate management information reports (e.g., Profit & Loss, Job Profitability, Weekly Hours, budgeting, collections, etc.)
  • Ensure that G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. is providing quality service to our client(s) and that these account(s) are operated in a manner consistent with established policies, contracts, and applicable laws; maintain an active, strong client relations program by making frequent personal visits to discuss any problems or recommendations for the improvement of service provided
  • Report writing; prepare required reports for client and G4S management
  • Oversee the safety program and development of the program for all facilities


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Finance, Healthcare Administration or another related discipline
    • A minimum of six (6) years of progressive advancement in healthcare security management
  • Meet and maintain any applicable licensing or certification requirements

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Work experience must include each of the following:
    • Demonstrated aptitude for assisting in the operational management of a large semi-independent business enterprise
    • Demonstrated knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) Environment of Care Standards
    • Strong consultative, analytical and business development skills

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity: Working on PC while sitting; telephone use

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching and reaching.
