Allied Universal is seeking a Project Specialist to support our Client's Global Security (GS)

Design, Engineering and Construction team. This role will focus on supporting the company’s

continued growth and expansion of Edge network infrastructure facilities comprising of PoP

(Point of Presence) sites and COLO’s (CoLocations) that, in conjunction with the global

hyperscale Data Centre program, play a pivotal role in supporting current and future business


In order to support cross functional partners with the design, engineering and construction of

physical and electronic security systems infrastructure, it’s preferable that candidates have a

background in, or strong working knowledge of Project Management, Construction and/or

Security Systems.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Work with internal and external partners to understand their processes, identify

opportunities for collaboration and establish consistency across the organisation

- Act as liason and primary point of contact for all program associated stakeholders

- Monitor and control resource utilisation, status reports and project schedules, modifying

and updating as required

- Create and maintain project plans to help inform critical path and major milestones

- Work with program disciplines as subject matter expert (SME) in the development of new

or revision, correction and updates of previously published documentation

- Meet regularly with client management to provide status updates

- Direct project operations ensuring GS standards, procedures and best practices are

being maintained in line with a uniformed and consistent global program

- Communicate updates on emerging technologies, solutions or practices that may impact

business operations, employees or vendors

- Ensure internal security teams are engaged appropriately in line with project timelines

and informed of any risks, issues and status updates

- Manage performance metrics to evaluate progress and success


- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management or Construction Management with

2+ years of relevant work experience -or- 5+ years focusing on Project Management,

Construction or Design in large-scale fast-paced business environments

- Strong written and verbal communications, organisational skills and attention to detail

- Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team environment

- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

- Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2) is a plus
