Revitalise your career by joining us as a Project Manager. Your colleagues will welcome your expertise, pulling with you to make transformation happen. Collaborating with colleagues from internal teams, and managing suppliers, you'll help solve the client’s delivery challenges. Your projects will be for our Government clients, in areas, such as Building Services, Facilities Management, Mechanical and Electrical projects.

 

Your Purpose

You'll be operating as part of a team, managing delivery of products and services within client organisations. You will be working to formal methodology, such as Prince2, APM etc.

 

Activities include: 

Using your Project Management, Building Services, Facilities Management, Mechanical and Electrical knowledge to:

  • Create tender responses, including supplier quotes
  • Ensure that the design aligns its self to the service delivery plans, and life cycle model
  • Implement refurbishment projects
  • Implement change management activity
  • Implement lifecycle activities
  • Stakeholder management
  • Maintenance of project dashboard, finance, including supplier and materials cost, and risk reporting to implement control of projects and facilitate future forecasting
  • Management of project risks and issues, and lessons learned, removing obstacles so that the project team can focus on effective delivery
  • Planning, employing flexible roadmaps to deliver outcomes, with a focus on collaboration and workflow management to ensure value-driven delivery
  • Delivery process improvement
  • Change Management

 


The Ideal Candidate:

What you can bring

You will bring experience of operating within a challenging and ever changing environment, with the ability to listen and question effectively, able to operate with clients and key stakeholders in a professional, responsive and client-focused manner.

 

Knowledge and practical experience of: 

  • Formal Project Management methodology delivery approaches
  • Team working, able to operate in a blended client/contractor environment
  • Liaising with construction and operational teams to ensure that mobilisation activities do not compromise operational viability
  • Financial and budget management  
  • Production of project artefacts   

 

We are looking for someone with strong people skills who is also:

  • Comfortable in interacting with client and staff at all levels of seniority. 
  • A team player who works cooperatively with others providing help where required and not averse to rolling their sleeves up to get the job done. 
  • A confident communicator with high emotional intelligence who can build trusted relationships at all levels and listens and questions effectively with concise verbal and written communication. 
  • Accomplished in exceeding stakeholder aspirations meeting targets and overcoming challenges 
  • Energetic and determined with the ability to work to tight timescales in a KPI driven environment 
  • Able to show initiative with the ability to respond flexibly to change and be prepared to develop ‘non-textbook’ approaches to meet the needs of the situation

Security Clearance is a requirement for this role, you must also be prepared to go through DV Clearance.
