Role Responsibility:

Project Assistant 

Worksop (S81 7QF)

£23,500-£25,000 per annum 

40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00)


Job outline: The Project Assistant is responsible for supporting Contractual Compliance and administration for the ESS Directorate – its clients and suppliers

The Ideal Candidate:


  • Have previously worked confidently in a finance or project based role
  • A team player - able to work collaboratively with others
  • Recognises the importance of confidentiality when supporting strategic or confidential issues
  • Good attention to detail – able to spot errors or mistakes in their own work and others
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experienced IT user. Confident in using Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Meet our primary productivity tools.
  • Have a proven conscientious and well organised approach to work load. Able to work on own initiative
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Googlemail and other standard systems
  • Proactive and flexible approach
  • Problem solver with logical approach
  • Analytical and enquiring – passionate about supporting ESS to meet its targets and goals



  • Experience of working in Finance or Project role in a BPO
  • Experience of working with government contracts
