An opportunity has arisen for a Process & Systems Manager to join G4S, based in the Leeds office.  Reporting to the Operations Support Director the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the management and  operational effectiveness of the National Control Centre and also across the business, conducting reviews of management systems and procedural architecture and recommending improvements to service delivery.

The successful applicant will also be responsible for reviewing data in various formats to assist in shaping key decisions when planning and implementing efficient and effective management practices, whilst identifying and addressing complex operational problems.  The successful candidate will be expected to travel UK wide in order to conduct ongoing progress analysis with the operational teams, ensure working practices are inline with processes & procedures and to also identify further opportunities for improvement.

  • Assist in the delivery of the overall Operations Support strategy.
  • Identify areas of operational ineffectiveness and work with the NCC Manager and ‘Virtual’ teams to create, implement and assess a program of continuous improvement(s)
  • Identify and develop added value ideas and spread best practice within the business.
  • To support the NCC and operations in performance improvement
  • To ensure operating systems are fit for purpose, ensuring effective and efficient system usage by staff
  • Using appropriate methodology to assist and roll out cost saving initiatives.
     
The Ideal Candidate
  • Current or recent experience in a data analysis role is essential.
  • Experience in managing and improving performance of operational areas.
  • Ability to self-manage, analyse data, support and coach
  • Able to demonstrate good communication skills at all levels

  • Numerical and analytical skills
