G4S Secure Solutions (Ire) are currently recruiting a Patrol Lead Guard with SOC experience for our client site based in Dublin City Centre for an immediate start.We are looking for individuals who are reliable and can be avaliable across Monday to Sundays for days, nights and weekend shifts.

 €14.55 per hour with a Sunday & Bank holiday premium

Main purpose of position:

To protect our client's property, people and/or assets by providing security services to a specific site in direct accordance with the site procedures and policies

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the training of new security officers
  • Manage team resources and personnel to best effect
  • Enforce existing client/G4S policies and procedures
  • Brief Site Manager on all staff welfare issues
  • Seek ways of enhancing service by making frequent service improvement suggestions, and encourage security team to do likewise
  • Generally represent the best interests of both G4S and our client
  • Badging office duties, responsible for maintaining strict issuing/auditing procedures on a daily/weekly basis
  • Provide cover in the SOC for holidays and when shifts require

Must have the following requirements:

  • Valid Current PSA licence 
  • Experience of using alarm monitoring systems such as Lenel
  • Good knowledge of CCTV, intergrated access control and intruder alarms systems
  • Experience in providing comprehensive oral and written reports 
  • Experience in Patrol Guards duties and building facilities audits
  • Fluent English essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • 5 years verifiable work and personal history
  • Strong IT skills
  • Capable of responding calmly and effectively to situations
  • Effective multi - tasker with a proven ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
