Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Monitor global developments that could affect the company and communicate relevant information to internal stakeholders via standard channels and products
  • Research company-specific security risk issues as directed
  • Create, review, and consistently maintain operational protocol documentations
  • Collaborate with other GS teams as specific incidents and operational requirements arise
  • Provide close and continuous support for relevant internal stakeholders when incidents require
  • Monitor group inbox and ensure all emails are acknowledged and processed
  • Monitor alarms and cameras

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to achieve and maintain any/all licenses, certifications, certificates required by law

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Prior work or educational experience with Microsoft Office and Windows based software applications
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • A minimum of two (2) years of successful work experience in a security command or operations center setting
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a field such as criminology, political science, international studies, national security, history, geography, remote sensing, statistics, or computer science
    • Service in the active duty, military reserve or National Guard
  • Work history to include demonstration of the following:
    • Understanding of physical security best practices
    • Ability to easily understand and apply software manipulation, business logic
    • Ability to navigate and interface with other technology support organizations

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail


  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing abilities
  • Ability to identify and understand international political and security issues that are relevant to business operations
  • Ability to communicate clearly with senior colleagues and work in a dynamic team environment
  • Ability to take the initiative and thrive independently once an assignment is explained
  • Consistent, detailed-oriented approach to all assignments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, as well as internet and social media research techniques
  • Ability to work on a shift rotation to include evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, etc.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office/Control Center; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected.

Major Activity: Working on PC and using telephone while sitting or standing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching and reaching
