Job Introduction:

Exciting opportunities have arisen for National Control Centre Operators to work in our control centre as part of the Operations Support Team, based at our office in the Leeds (LS10) area.  You will be assisting with out of hours scheduling, officer welfare calls and monitoring of staff booking on and off duty, check calls and supporting frontline staff & field based managers. You will be part of a busy dynamic team for the largest security company in the world.

 The role is hourly paid at £10.50 per hour, which will result in minimum earnings of around £23000 per annum (not including overtime) and will be contracted to 42 hours per week.

Flexible approach to shift work and overtime as you will be working within a large team working 24/7. Shift pattern is - 4 on 4 off, which will include Days, Nights and Weekends.

  • Monitor the health & safety and welfare of field based personnel through completion of welfare calls and effective escalation where appropriate

  • Schedule and deploy security personnel across the country in line with our contractual requirements

  • Act as a central point of contact for all field based staff members

  • Provide support to the wider teams in using the G4S systems.

  • Produce timely and accurate reporting to relevant management teams.

  • Support other teams members within the centre with shift cover & workload, as and where required


The Ideal Candidate:

To be considered for this role you must be able to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • 5 years checkable work history
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK/EU
  • Fluent written and spoken English
