Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Operate the Access Control system to verify guest registration, reason for visit, and check and log identification.
  • Serve as the first point of contact when an employee, tenant, or guest enters the lobby, ensuring a positive and efficient experience
  • Serve as the face of the customer, as well as G4S, by graciously greeting and attending to employees/visitors/tenants
  • Possess and maintain a strong knowledge of the building facilities and services
  • Provide up to date building/tenant information to visitors and employees as requested
  • Handle incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assume ownership of all calls received, ensuring tenant/employee/visitor expectations are met or exceeded
  • Monitor performance of all front of house equipment
  • Uphold security guidelines while facilitating the respective check-in process
  • Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
  • Sound alarms or call police/fire department in case of emergency
  • Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking in undesignated areas, carrying forbidden items, etc.
  • Monitor entrances and exits


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in Customer Service, Retail, Security, Hospitality, or a related field

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must have excellent communication and articulation skills
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules, including some nights and weekends
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:         Indoor; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected.

Major Activity:        Standing, interacting with the public

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Limited, to include some bending, limited stretching and reaching.
