Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Provide timely, efficient and professional service to all customers and partners
  • Receive inbound calls to assist in installations, connectivity or configurations of new and current devices
  • Organize and prioritize outbound calls related to device connectivity and device health.
  • Receive Customer Support escalations for hardware or software troubleshooting
  • Escalating and tracking of on-going installations or connectivity
  • Proactively monitor and evaluate device health to prevent or forsee device issues
  • Various projects requested by supervisor

 


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
    • High school diploma combined with two (2) years of experience in a technical support role or Equivalent work experience

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Work history must demonstrate each of the following:
    • Strong understanding of software/hardware troubleshooting
    • You are a highly motivated individual with a strong desire to learn
    • The ability to exercise good judgment and decision making

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

Other

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:         Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity:        Working on PC and using telephone while sitting

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:     Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching and reaching.
