Holding 22,000 visitors, the O2 is the home to the world's most popular music, sport and entertainment events and so much more - this is an exciting opportunity to come and join our team with evening and weekend work available.

We are currently recruiting for experienced SIA Door Supervisors to enhance and expand our Response Teams, working at the O2.  You must hold a valid DS or CP SIA Licence to apply for this role. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, friendly and approachable, with great communication skills who can interact with members of the public.  Customer Service is key, so you must have the ability to problem solve and deal with situations in a positive and proactive manner and who are able to  work during the evening or at weekends,

We work across the sports and music industries, spanning the whole of the UK - so you will have an opportunity to be a part of the events you love - whether that be working at a Premier League Football Club or a high profile cricket ground or at an events venue in the region.  If you're open to travel we even have opportunities to be part of some of the biggest events across the UK.

Across the broader G4S Events business can also offer you opportunities to suit your lifestyle, whether it’s flexible ad hoc hours, or working 40+ hours a week, we have a wide range of shifts available.

As a Security Officer you will be responsible for securing the venues, staff and visitors for our customers. This may include:

  • Carrying out pre and post event safety checks ensuring compliance with safe working procedures
  • Responding to incidents and deal with in a professional but robust manner
  • Searching visitors on entry to venues
  • Ensuring that no prohibited or restricted items are taken into the secured zones within the venues
  • Monitoring visitor / crowd movements and behaviour to identify potential issues or incidents and to take action as necessary
  • Dealing with visitor / crowd disruption and ejections from the venue, if appropriate
  • Securing licenced / hospitality areas

You will need to hold your SIA Door Supervisor OR CP licence - if you don't have this you can still be considered as a Steward so please see our other opportunities. If this sounds like something you want to be involved in, you will just need to complete the following application form and one of our Recruiters will be in touch to discuss the next steps.

We have planned interview days at the O2 over the coming weeks, so complete an application form and book your interview slot asap, so you don't lose out!

Given the nature of the industry, we do need to ask some questions for security and compliance purposes, but don’t worry - you will only need to complete them once.
