Hybrid Working - regular travel to Oakhill Secure Childrens Centre, Milton Keynes and Home Based, £35,000 per annum

6-12 months fixed term contract, Full Time – 40 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Internal Recruiter for an initial period of 6-12 months to really hit the ground running!  You will lead the full 360 recruitment cycle on volume recruitment including advert design, creative attraction methods, candidate liaison and processing suitable candidates for the Hiring Managers to interview through to successful on boarding for our Secure Children’s Centre in Milton Keynes. 

Reporting to the Resourcing Business Partner, you will work closely with the Centre’s HR Team and Senior Managers to determine current recruitment demands, lead on a robust recruitment strategy ensuring we attract the best candidates!

As part of your role you will create engaging adverts, be innovative and drive various attraction ideas, sourcing direct candidates through various methods and ensure that you have an effective candidate pipeline engagement process.

It is important that you have experience of managing and leading multiple large scale recruitment campaigns and handling candidate pipelines plus experience of working towards and reporting against KPIs.

You must be flexible, work well under pressure, be adaptable and able to work in a constantly evolving work environment.  The successful candidate will have the ability to prioritise, whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy through excellent organisational skills.

We are looking for a highly motivated and determined person, with the ability to be resilient, confident with a tenacious can do attitude and the ability to work alone and as part of a busy and fast paced team.

G4S Care & Rehabilitation Services (CaRS) currently manages 4 prisons, one secure training centre and a number of community contracts in England and Wales.

At Oakhill Secure Training Centre we look after young people aged 12 to 18 years old who have been remanded or sentenced to periods of detention. The vulnerable children in our care can be challenging with a wide range of social and emotional complex needs. This is an environment that calls for high standards of social care and service delivery to provide a secure and stable environment for young people to develop their life skills and address the behaviours that have led them into custody.  

Oakhill Secure Training Centre works closely with the Youth Custody Services to ensure that its regimes and designs reflect best practice in residential care to prevent re-offending.
