The Global Identification Services Administrator will administer and support Global Identification Services (IDS) database applications, globally manage and facilitate meetings among IDS team members, and train IDS administrators on new and updated procedures. This position will also create and maintain procedures, support day to day Global IDS operations, and coordinate and approve client badge templates. Additional duties include providing support to client monthly audit requirements, and miscellaneous Physical Security assignments.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Oversee and manage the Global Identification (IDS) program 
  • Manage a team of IDS Administrators globally, overseeing the staffing, scheduling, and on-site training; coaching and professional development of team members; enforcing disciplinary action as needed
  • Coordinate the assignment of HR, IT and Archibus tickets for Global IDS
  • Oversee the deployment of the Physical Security devices for new Office Design Center (ODC) and the client Monthly Audits for the ODC’s.
  • Execute a quarterly Audit for control environments and provide audit findings to Security Management.
  • Review monthly reports to IT Compliance SharePoint to maintain the Data Center Audit Data
  • Maintain up to date the Restricted Area Owner lists and area naming conventions
  • Administer and support Global Identification Services (IDS) applications
  • Manage application software to support Physical Security Emergency notifications and responses via mass communication system (Send Word Now), Security Risks Alerts (IJET), and Emergency Alert Notification System
  • Oversee quarterly audits for review access to client  restricted area(s)/lab(s)
  • Review and publish Security Guidelines for IDS
  • Manage the IDS CONNECT Page
  • Ordering of office supplies and equipment for Physical Security and IDS
  • Oversee PCard charges and complete reconciliation reports each month for client
  • Manage Physical Security SharePoints and access permissions
  • Complete the Physical Security Monthly Report
  • Develop and manage the Archibus Compliance Requirements for Physical Security
  • Oversee the Physical Security Survey Audits (will require travel)
  • On/Off-Boarding for Physical Security by providing access to security applications

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an Identification Services (Badging) office
  • Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of security experience in a supervisory role

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must possess knowledge of security physical access control systems, video and visitor management, and relevant third party applications
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Indoor; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity: Telephone use, working on a computer while sitting

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting, minimal stooping or kneeling is required.
