Role Responsibility:

This role and contract sit within our Facilities Management sector of G4S where we aim to improve the lives of people across the UK and Ireland by creating productive, safe and smooth working environments.

As Furniture Technician, you will support the Infrastructure Services Team in the management of Churn, New Project and Lifecycle renewal activities through a mixture of direct delivery and outsourced service provision both individually and as part of a small team.


Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Repair and maintenance of furniture.
  • Support with furniture deliveries.
  • Relocation of furniture and other items as necessary in fulfillent of CHURN activity.
  • Installation of and assembly of furniture.
  • To provide a competent and diligent security escorting service to visitors and contractors that attend site.
  • Familiarising and complying with all site rules, regulations and practices and procedures affecting health and safety.


This is a full time role, predominantly working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, however some weekend work may be required in order to meet deadlines.

The Ideal Candidate:

To be successful for this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a customer focused approach and be able to work as part of a team, as well as on your own initiative. You will also have a keen eye for detail and ideally hold a full driving licence.
