·    As a Floor Coordinator your main duty is to act as the first point of contact for any guests and staff that visit IBM Southbank. The welcome host along with the reception team are the face of IBM and represent the brand and its values. The prime focus to this role is to provide excellent customer service and create a seamless visitor journey from start to finish. The welcome host role is a flexible role that requires a proactive approach and managing time effectively is imperative. The welcome host will work closely with both reception and security and be flexible in approach depending on demand/as required by the linemanager.

     Role Specific Tasks:

     - To give every visitor /client a seamless visitor experience.

     - Go the extra mile to make each guest feel valued and experience 5* customer service.

     - To actively help visitors and staff with any questions or queries.

     - To support the visitor process and operating procedures as required.

     - Own the reception space to ensure a joined-up approach to hosting a secure but welcoming visitor experience being a key point of communication and liaison between the reception team and Security.

     - Actively monitor the reception area, take ownership of the area and pro-actively assist with any queries.

     - Maintain the organisation’s stability and reputation by understanding and complying with gust process requirements.

     - Ensure all Front of House Security/visitor procedures are delivered in accordance and the standard operating procedures on a day-to-day basis.

     - Provide a basic knowledge of the Visitor management system and access policy for both IBM staff, visitors and contractors.

 

 

Main Duties: 

·    - Provide an exceptional and memorable experience to each visitor.

·    - Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manor.

·    - Direct staff/guests to the appropriate areas

·    - Pro-actively help with any questions and queries.

·    - Direct visitors to bathroom facilities

·    - Support the reception team in busy periods and cover breaks etc when needed.

·    - Be aware of visitors that have been seated for over 10 minutes, politely make reception aware.

·     - Assist with queue management during busy periods and direct staff where appropriate.

·     - Ensure all procedures and policies are followed accurately and professionally to ensure the right people have access to our buildings

·    -1700-1800 to take over at Reception Desk 

 



The Ideal Candidate

You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key, You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends. It would be a benefit to have from some security experience and your SIA licence, however it’s not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.
