Role Responsibility:

This role and contract sit within our Facilities Management sector of G4S where we aim to improve the lives of people across the UK and Ireland by creating productive, safe and smooth working environments.

We have an opportunity for a Fire Technician to join our team based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL51 0EX. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00. Overtime may also be available.

 

As Fire Technician, you will operate to deliver fire planned and reactive maintenance and respond as necessary to all incidents as directed to minimise business disruption and operational down time.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake all works in accordance with the SLA and KPI’s, site policies Health and Safety rules and regulations.

  • Oversee on-site contractors, ensuring their work is satisfactorily completed.

  • Respond to defects, faults and client requests and work with others to identify root causes to prevent reoccurrence.

  • Maintain records and produce reports as required.

  • Ensure all planned maintenance tasks are completed within the designated time period to enable full compliance.


The Ideal Candidate:

Requirements:

To be successful for this role, you will have experience in working in a commercial or industrial FM service delivery environment and will also have an understanding of the installed building engineering services. 

IOSH supervise safety, ONC engineering or NVQ3 engineering would also be advantageous.
