This position will have full P&L responsibility for all G4S business in the Region. This individual will be accountable for providing overall leadership and management of this complex and highly successful business. This individual will play a high-profile role within the company, collaborating effectively with peers in North America and around the world.  They will serve as a key member of the US Secure Solutions senior leadership team and will be expected to contribute to the creation and execution of the organization's vision, values and strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strong leadership to both internal and external constituents. 
  • Internally this individual will need to effectively manage the organization to ensure the delivery of forecasted earnings and profitability results. 
  • Externally, the RVP will be expected to function as an effective and compelling spokesperson – a ‘face of the company’ to key clients, customers and  partners, including law enforcement agencies. 
  • Assertively moving the business forward and ensure profitable growth and increased market penetration in all of the vertical and local markets. 
  • Driving performance by retaining, developing and recruiting world-class talent to ensure the Region has the key leaders needed to continue to deliver and drive the business forward.
  • Assuring that appropriate management and financial controls, plans, and actions are in place to successfully execute performance plans.
  • Developing and driving operational excellence in every facet of the business and ensuring that the operations and infrastructure in place is scalable and can accommodate growth. 
  • Building and developing a growth strategy and directing the work force to execute that plan.
  • Maintaining accountable for delivering budgeted sales, profit and return on investment.

Other specific responsibilities include:

  • The development, implementation and attainment of an annual operating budget utilizing G4S business processes.
  • The successful execution of corporate objectives/initiatives (i.e. safety, risk management, G4S values, etc.).
  • Managing HR related processes including people development, staffing, performance management, etc.
  • Developing and fostering communication across the Region between business sector leaders, clients, customers and partners.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Provide local leadership & management to area offices
  • Provide leadership and management in developing new markets
  • Provide leadership and management in P&L analysis and related action plans
  • Provide support and guidance to the business development team
  • Staff and manage teams that start-up and operate complex accounts
  • Develop and maintain personal relationships with the large key customers
  • Organize support for short-notice job starts, emergency service and compliance
  • Interpret and administer programs and procedures for the organization in accordance with company policies
  • Monitor and respond accordingly to employee trends within Region, i.e., non-billable overtime, employee turnover, employee morale and employee satisfaction
  • Analyze Regional performance and operations to determine areas of cost reduction and process improvement
  • Communicate and promotes the company’s culture, values, philosophy and strategic objectives to team as it relates to their respective functions

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration or a closely related field
  • Must be able to meet and maintain any applicable licensing or certification requirements

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must have at least 10 years' experience as a strong, strategically-oriented leader with a track record of successfully leading a large-scale business-to-business service operation. Experience must include success with a broad customer base over a large geographically dispersed workforce.
  • Verifiable success in leadership that includes a portfolio of accomplishments that includes operational excellence, continuous improvement, management leadership and sales achievement.
  • Must be able to operate within the ideologies of running a lean, efficient organization that moves quickly and is sharply focused on service delivery, customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Demonstrated ability to be both a strategic and tactical leader.

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States

  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
