If you answered yes to the above, G4S Events would like to invite you to apply to be an Event Customer Care Steward to work at Headingley Stadium and some of the most prestigious events across the UK.

These exciting opportunities could see you working at large scale events such as The Grand National, Manchester City FC and its 5* Training Facilities, The Golf Open Championship, Download Festival, British Summertime - Hyde Park Festival, T in the Park and other football, cricket and rugby matches.

Please note that you do NOT need an SIA license to apply for this vacancy.

As an Event Customer Care Steward you will be helping in all manners of ways including, but not limited to:

  • Ticket Checking
  • Directing patrons
  • Crowd monitoring
  • Hospitality and Car Park Stewarding
  • Providing general guidance to the public.

Our staff provide a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff at an event.

It’s a varied role that will change depending on the event. You could be inside or outside, on your feet showing fans where to go at Yorkshire Cricket Ground, in a booth checking tickets at Leeds Rhinos matches, or monitoring the crowd and managing the car parking at various music festivals across Yorkshire and Lancashire. Wherever you are, you’ll be the fun, helpful and friendly face of the event.

You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Ideally you will have customer service experience with a common sense approach to working with the public. You will need to demonstrate a friendly and approachable, yet professional attitude through excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Flexibility is also important as shifts can fall on evenings and weekends.

You are only required to complete one application to work for G4S Events throughout the UK.
