G4S Health Services has been one of the leading providers to all justice health environments since 2005. Working across Secure, Custody and Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARC) across the UK, we provide primary care and forensic healthcare to a wide range of patients.

 

Job outline:

The successful candidate will work as part of the Secure Operational Management team initially, with a focus on ensuring smooth extraction of Healthcare provision from G4S Care and Rehabilitation Services Establishments. The candidate will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of all de-mobilisation activities and business readiness for a successful and seamless handover of G4S Healthcare provision to newly contracted incoming provider(s).


 

What’s involved:

  • Uses a powerful combination of certified project management skills & desirably experience in a health or secure environment.

  • Plans, develops, and documents all-encompassing project plan(s) ensuring smooth extraction of health services.

  • Outlines, Manages and coordinates the delivery, implementation and hand-over planning; as well as producing and maintaining the documentation for the extraction of health services.

  • To identify improvement opportunities and efficiencies.

  • Proactively manage and oversee multi-disciplined implementation workstreams throughout their lifecycle, from planning, operational implementation and hand-over which will include recruitment, training, Management information, IT etc.

  • As a Project Manager, act as primary point of contact for the extraction work stream delivery.

  • Coordinate and align project plans to ensure consistency and high standard of customer services at launch.

  • Manage expectations and key stakeholders’ alignment to make sure the project is delivered on time and as expected.


The Ideal Candidate:

Essential:

  • Accredited/Certified in a recognised Project Management qualification e.g., Prince2.

  • Experience in the development and delivery of successful projects.

  • Excellent organisation skills, to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines.

  • strong interpersonal skills – with the ability to influence and co-ordinate others.

  • the ability to monitor and control resources.

  • good communication and negotiation skills, to manage expectations across internal and external stakeholders.

  • the ability to use your initiative and make decisions under pressure.

  • Ability to adapt to new working environments and hit the ground running.

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in a healthcare or custodial setting/customer service environment.

  • Has experience of working with government clients.

  • Experience of contract exiting.

  • Experience of TUPE process.

This role requires the ability to work with vulnerable people in a caring and compassionate way. A DBS check and relevant police/ prison clearance will be required to exclude any individuals with a history of behaviour which could be considered unacceptable (by G4S or the clients). Safety is of paramount importance and the post holder must ensure that safe systems of work are followed without compromise.
