The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a COVID-19 Program Coordinator.  The COVID-19 Program Coordinator will perform case investigations and work with other regionally focused Contact Tracers to conduct a virtual “needs check,” trace the origin of COVID cases, to include potentially exposed employees and connect at-risk COVID-19 positive patients and people in quarantine to community resources.

The COVID-19 Program Coordinator will be developing, updating, and maintaining COVID-19 protocols, in addition to providing training and guidance to Human Resources team members on regulations and best practices.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • COVID Protocols; developing, updating, and maintaining COVID-19 protocols
  • Collaboration with HR; maintain regular cadence with the team and train them on safety expectations
  • Respond to all COVID related cases; compile badge reports, identify impacted areas, conduct intake/assessment of cases, assess close contacts, coordinate cleaning and site closures, and document and report all cases
  • Compliance tracking; develop/update/maintain COVID-19 compliance chart, track/update local jurisdictional requirements, review COVID-19 protocols for external partners
  • Training; track and report security Return to Work (RTW) training
  • Documentation; oversee recordkeeping of all COVID-19 documentation, ensure understanding of internal documentation tools such as Everbridge, CEM, and Salesforce
  • Review and understand company's COVID-19 response and Return-to-Workplace protocols
  • Assign cases to HR Connect team and monitor suspected and confirmed cases for all locations
  • Provide training and ongoing support to HR Connect team through a process of continued monitoring and quality control to ensure program goals are being met
  • Work closely with Workplaces and HR Connect teams to support and address all COVID-19 related cases and concerns
  • Oversee quality control of data collection and data reporting
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA standards. Maintain daily contact with the EH&S manager
  • Facilitate and keep documentation for case count and statistics; development of intake form, file checklists and other program paperwork
  • Initiate, coordinate, and assume responsibility for benchmarking against best-in-class programs; build and facilitate teamwork, partnerships, and the implementation of progressive change
  • Investigate incidents and create accurate and timely incident reports, escalating to the appropriate persons as necessary
  • Make informed, educated decisions on case management based on interview guidelines
  • Participate in training to enhance operational and administrative requirements
  • Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from employees, outside vendors, law enforcement, and the security field force via telephone, automated alarm monitoring and radio systems
  • Process and evaluate information received from all available sources, and respond with the appropriate communication and dispatch procedures

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in a Health Science, Health and Safety, or a related field
    • A minimum of five (5) years of experience within a health-science field

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of six (6) years of experience in program coordination
  • Work history must include working remotely with teams in different parts of the country
  • Work history must demonstrate expert relationship building ability

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Applications
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail


  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must be able to work under stressful conditions
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules, including some nights and weekends
  • Must be willing to complete training for COVID-19 Contact Tracers (ASTHO) by date of hire
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:         Office, minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures

Major activity:        Working on PC and using telephone/radio while sitting

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:     Standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
