JOB INTRODUCTION

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Control Room Operative to join the G4S Secure Solutions (UK) team in the Belfast area.


The responsibilities of the role include providing the company with a national monitoring service, which is responsive to the needs of the customer and the company. Working as part of a team providing a 24-hour incident management to both internal & external customers

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

  • Ensure that all telephone calls are dealt with professionally, efficiently and in accordance with laid down procedures
  • Administrative tasks including database management
  • Ensure that accurate records are kept and all calls are logged and data stored to enable reports to be generated for analysis by the Management Team
  • Deal with all incidents & emergencies according to laid down escalation procedures
  • Ensure that all processes and procedures followed are in line with NSI and other legislative regulations


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good IT skills including MS Office
  • Confident communication skills
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly
  • A sympathetic and sensitive approach to varying situations
  • Resilience and have a calm demeanor
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to take ownership of incidents and see them through to resolution
  • 1 year+ customer service experience within a contact centre environment an advantage
  • Proven experience of working to and achieving targets desirable

In this role you must be able to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 month
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English
  • Have a five year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self- employment or full and part time education during that period
