We have an exciting opportunity to join G4S as a Control Room Officer at a prestigious motor company in Chichester. A Control Room Officer is required to assume the responsibility for ensuring that company security procedures are maintained to a high standard and exercised effectively. 



You’ll ensure the safety of staff, their buildings and assets, through ensuring continuous and effective security surveillance. Working with the security operation on the ground, you will be in communication to ensure security is maintained across our customer sites. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment. You will need to have experience of operating modern building surveillance, Software packages, web based software and Microsoft.


You must be flexible and available to work night shifts Monday - Friday, 6pm - 6am.

 

The Ideal Candidate 


You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key, You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends. It would be a benefit to have from some security experience and your CCTV SIA licence. You will need to have a full UK driving licence. 

  • To operate and coordinate all aspects of Control Room Operation with Protective Services Team Leader including emergency response i.e. Fire and emergency alarm system 

  • People/Baggage/Vehicle searches; to ensure no unauthorised assets (including vehicles) leave RRMC premises

  • To operate, monitor, evaluate and maintain CCTV systems

  • Administrative tasks including database management ensure that accurate records are kept and all calls are logged and data stored to enable reports to be generated for analysis by the Management Team

  • Deal with all accidents & emergencies according to laid down escalation procedures ensuring that all processes and procedures followed are in line with NSI and other legislative regulations.
