ACCOUNT / CONTRACT  MANAGER

Exciting opportunity to join a leading Facilities Management company. G4S are currently recruiting for a Contract Manager to lead the Soft Services Operation of one of our key NHS contracts based in Croydon. You will oversee the Soft Services on-site including cleaning and portering. In return we are offering a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.

 

We are looking for an exceptional leader to take on the challenge of leading and developing one of our key FM Health contracts. The main purpose of this role will be to ensure you create and maintain a strategic partnership with your customer by providing innovative solutions that deliver the services and change needed to meet and exceed expectations. Using your skills and experience to drive excellence, you will have the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the customers’ business and purpose, creating value for the customer whilst ensuring account retention and growth. Using your leadership skills, to achieve company and contractual objectives through the empowerment and influencing of your team.


 

Key Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Ensure provision of full-service delivery across the sites as per contract specification

  • Ensure the Cleaning and  Portering and associated agreed services fully delivered to consistently high standards are meets customer requirements

  • Effectively manage budgets, profitability and cost

  • Line management responsibilities including HR, Training, Payroll, grievance, H&S compliance across sites and disciplinary issues 

  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and current as per company standards

  • Monitor subcontracted services ensuring they meet contractual and statutory requirements.

  • Promote a positive Health & Safety, compliance culture, which ensures that we meet or exceed legislative contractual and G4S requirements, including work undertaken by external agencies. 

 

  • Induct, coach, support and motivate employees in order to develop and improve their performance, to meet customer, commercial and contractual requirements and to ensure commitment to inclusivity and the maintenance of appropriate behaviour and conduct in line with Group Minimum Standards. 

  • Develop and manage the budget forecast for its own area of responsibility ensuring that identified financial targets are achieved whilst meeting all contractual and commercial requirements and ensuring that company assets are successfully maintained.

  • Maintain an absolute focus on Health and Safety at all times ensuring a safe working environment by compliance with health and safety legislation, client and G4S internal H&S and compliance procedures.

  • Oversee processes for monitoring hours required and work undertaken to ensure that specifications are met and staff are appropriately rewarded in line with budget targets.


The Ideal Candidate:

 

Essential Criteria:

 

  • Previous Health FM managerial or supervisory experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills including: communication, reliability and a positive can-do attitude

  • Experience managing budgets and client relations 

  • Demonstrable Contractual / Commercial experience

  • Managing a large team of 100+ staff

  • Demonstrable financial management and financial planning experience
