Role Responsibility:

  • Undertake day to day cleaning duties and cover work
  • Support the Cleaning Team Leader by contributing to:
    • The maintenance and review of Risks Assessments and COSHH
    • Performance monitoring and audits of tasks and H&S
    • Employee Development Reviews, liaising with the Cleaning Team Leader
    • Maintaining an equipment and consumable log
    • The management of laundry
  • In the absence of the Team Leader:
    • Manage the cleaning team to provide a clean, safe and hygienic environment
    • Communicate to the team and manage any issues, sickness absence and undertake
    • To re-schedule work to meet fluctuations in staffing levels/customer requests
    • To produce and record information e.g. SLA monitoring information, equipment and stock levels
    • Maintain sickness, annual leave and overtime logs and other related information
    • To monitor and manage consumable stock levels and to order supplies as appropriate to meet operational and budget requirements
    • To communicate to the Client on issues
    • Handle and monitor customer feedback
    • To assist in the ongoing development of the cleaning service solution for the site to meet SLA, G4S and Client requirements, attending relevant meetings where needed
  • To comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act and emergency procedures as required
  • Carry out any other reasonable requests made by the Cleaning Team Leader
