Salary: £8.01 per hour
Full Time (40 hours per week Monday - Friday)

We’re bigger, more diverse and involved in more fascinating, cutting-edge projects than many people would imagine and we now have an opportunity for a full-time Cleaner to join our team at HMP Altcourse, a category B local prison, in Fazakerly Liverpool, holding over 1200 adult male offenders.
The successful candidate wil be required to provide a comprehensive cleaning service in designated areas of the prison to meet the standards identified in the cleaning schedule
- Act in accordance with existing procedures in order to maintain security and Health & Safety within the prison.
- Clean all utilities and equipment at the prison, so that cleanliness standards are maintained, ensuring a hygienic environment.
- Maintain cleaning equipment, so that it remains serviceable and ready to use, ensuring no time delay in achieving standards required.
- Identify and report any areas requiring repair or maintenance using the relevant site procedures.
- Notify relevant staff of stock levels so that the availability of cleaning materials is maintained.
- Ensure the maintenance of security within the prison environment by compliance with security instructions.
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage however isnt essential.
