G4S Secure Solutions (Ire) are currently recruiting Car Park Attendants with or without experience for our retail client site based in Kildare for an immediate start. Full-time hours of employment with full training provided.

€11.65 per hour with Sunday and Bank holiday premium

Main Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers entering the parking facility
  • Politely assisting customers with inquiries and requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Directing drivers and pedestrians and advising on parking areas
  • Demonstrated customer by assisting visitors and providing directions throughout the facility
  • Welcoming booked visitors to the Visitors’ Car Park and ensure appropriate use of the facility
  • Setting out and stowaway reserved parking cones and signs, as required
  • Control event delivery and collection vehicles as required
  • Control event car parking
  • Assisting Security staff with responses to fire alarms/emergencies as required
  • To advise Security staff of any security concerns e.g. suspicious behaviour
  • Maintaining operation at car park and ensure customers get high quality service and satisfaction
  • Responding swiftly to sound of alarm attached to marked vehicles when activated and investigate disturbances
  • Identify possible risks at car park and resolve conflict where it arises
  • Ensuring a safe, hazard free, and clean parking environment
  • Greeting, assisting and directing members of the public visiting the premises as well as liaising with the client
  • Responding immediately to all reports concerning damage to equipment, antisocial behavior, and/or unauthorized access and resolve all issues


Must have the following requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure high degree of customer satisfaction
  • Fluent English essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly energetic, confident, reliable, punctual, and proactive individual
  • Excellent written and attention to detail skills are essential
  • Be fully flexible and available to work across Monday to Sunday (06:00 - 22:00)
  • Previous experience in a retail/customer service advisor role desirable but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of and ability to apply Microsoft Office package
