Job Introduction

 

The job holder is primarily responsible for acting as a coordination point between engineers, operational management, suppliers, the scheduling team and G4S customers to ensure the smooth delivery Fire and Security dayworks contracts in the designated region. Administration support for larger Installation contracts will also be required. The job holder will administeradditional operational support as required to ensure the smooth and efficient running of small value contract delivery as well as providing support to regional engineers, Operational Management and the wider business as required.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Working with Management & Operations to establish best administration practice

  • Dayworks processing and coordination

  • Standard risk assessment paperwork

  • Invoice Approvals

  • General administration duties as necessary

  • Regional engineer support (absence tracking / training records)

  • Work closely with Operational Management on regional contracts

  • Liaise with Customer Service for scheduling of engineers

  • Process purchase orders for subcontractors / suppliers

  • Order Ad-Hoc equipment

 



 

The Ideal Candidate

 

Essential:  

  • Experience in a similar role 

  • Understanding of commonly used office packages

  • Knowledge of Service Centre System would be highly desirable

  • A high standard of computer literacy

  • Ability to prioritise and work on own initiative

  • Reliable

  • Eye for detail

  • Team player

  • Logical & numerical aptitude
