Job Introduction:

This is a great opportunity to join our busy and dynamic Accounts Receivable team within the wider large Finance Team at our Worksop office.  The role is Billing Support Specialist and is a permanent part time role, 16 hours per week, worked on Monday and Friday.  It is an in-office role with opportunities for training and progression.   

 

The main purpose of the role is to ensure customer invoices and credit notes are created and distributed accurately and in a timely manner and ensure all queries that are received have tickets raised & are resolved in a timely manner.

Role Responsibility:

The main responsibilities of the Billing Support Specialist are:

 

  • Look for process improvement opportunity for FSSC service delivery

  • Work to daily team target set by team leader

  • Accurate and timely creation of correctly authorised manual invoices within SAP, Oracle, Great Plains & Exchequer when requested by business

  • Creation of manual credit notes within SAP, Oracle, Great Plains & Exchequer - ensuring adherence to company policy

  • Loading of documents to customer portals timely

  • Resolve customer queries in a timely manner

  • Creating and categorising outbound service requests

  • Liaise with Credit Controllers in regards to Business requests


The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for the Billing Support Specialist role will have the following experience, skills and qualities:

 

Formal Education 

Technical 

  • Experienced in using MS Excel & MS Word 

  • Numerate and literate 

  • Experience of using SAP and Oracle would be desirable 

Experience

  • Experience in working with customers to resolve queries and issues

  • Experience working in a busy Customer service/Finance environment 

  • Experience in processing invoices to specific requirements and timeframes.

Personal Qualities    

  • Excellent verbal communication must be able to effectively communicate G4S policy

  • Team player. Must be willing to help and support colleagues

 

The successful candidate will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. These documents may include your passport, driver’s license, utility bill (dated in the last 3 months), HMRC letter, an original bank statement, an original payslip, your birth certificate, or a valid share code.

 

The role is office based and as such you must live within commutable distance of the Worksop Office S81 7QF
