Our East London commercial team are going through a period of expansion and looking to recruit a new Assistant Commercial Manager. This role is to meet the increasing need for contract level commercial support as we take on new and complex projects. The role is highly diverse, covering a wide range of business skills and disciplines.

Some of your responsibilities will include supporting the monthly payment application process, maintaining the project work and variation trackers and compiling all relevant documentation, daily communications with sub-contractors and project managers to inform project status updates and identify potential issues in real time and identify, record and escalate new issues, risks and opportunities to the Commercial Manager.

It is essential that you have a flexible, adaptable approach to working and that you like to manage and follow processes.

Desirable Criteria

  • Operational FM experience in both Soft & Hard FM services
  • Experience of working in an educational environment
  • Knowledge of FM related legislation and technical guidance such as SFG20
  • Knowledge of the CAFM systems
