Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious facilities management professional to deliver the TFM across the Leicester Schools portfolio. The Leicester contract is made up of 4 large high schools, one of which teaches further education up to year 13.


The Leicester Schools contract is a PFI contract that commenced on 30th March 2012. G4S FM will continue to operate and provide services until 2038.


G4S Facilities Management aims to improve the lives of people across the UK and Ireland by creating productive, safe and smooth working environments. At G4S we are used to working in critical and secure environments. G4S FM has extensive experience across a wide range of Public Sector facilities.


This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day facilities service operations. You will be an advocate of solid processes and procedures, in order to ensure that the team are meeting and exceeding contractual KPI's and SLA's. This role will play a key part in supporting the G4S FM safety improvement plan in raising awareness and improving the culture across the portfolio.


In addition you will be tasked with operationally delivering a strategic plan and will need to evidence previous experience of this.

The Ideal Candidate:

Desirable criteria

  • Prince2 or similar
  • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent
  • BIFM Level 3-4
  • ILM Level 2-3
  • Proven experience in FM change management showing consistency and progression
  • Experience of Direct or Indirect management of a multi-disciplinary workforce
  • IOSH Managing Safely 


Previous experience either working at Contract Management/Senior Contract Management level would be advantageous.
