As an Armored Carrier Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for day to day coordination with the Retail Solutions Carrier Management team as well as our Carrier partners. The successful candidate must possess a professional demeanor, the ability to balance a myriad of daily tasks, and display superior communication abilities (face-to-face, phone and written). In addition, this position involves support for quick and effective response to peers, customers and partners, and other carrier related service needs. The Retail Solutions Armored Carrier Support Coordinator will assist the Carrier Management team in administrative tasks such as running reports and compiling data.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Provide timely, efficient, and professional service to ensure client satisfaction
  • Run carrier specific reports in CM and notify carriers via email
  • Organize and prioritize outbound calls to carrier and customers related to armored car service issues; provide ETAs to customers when needed
  • Create tickets for missed pickups, change orders, emergency services, and off day services
  • Track all services to resolution in a timely manner within SLAs
  • Log root causes for missed services, off day and emergency services 
  • Manage a large volume of inbound and outbound support calls
  • Maintain proper telephone etiquette when speaking to clients and armored carriers
  • Complete time sensitive daily reports


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Carrier in Transit (CIT) or Cash Solution Management Support role
    • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a dispatch or customer support role

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

Other

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:         Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity:        Working on PC and using telephone while sitting

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:      Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching and reaching.
