The purpose of this role is to provide an effective and efficient administrative support service within the Global Workforce Screening (GWS) and EMEA Access card (EAC) Teams, offering day to day assistance to the client’s business. The ability to provide excellent customer service at all levels as well as being an active member of the team.

Role Responsibility:

  • Support the Global Workforce Screening (GWS) team in managing specific screening requirements.
  • Responsible for the collation of ID documents for GWS
  • Ownership and accountability for uploading documents onto the vendor portal.
  • Develop a strong relationship with key stakeholders within the business
  • Ability to work in a busy environment with high volumes 
  • Ability to escalate concerns to senior management/ GWS
  • Act as first point of contact when a permanent member of staff or a contractor joins the bank.
  • Provide support and assist members of staff with the online global self-service web application. 
  • Take incoming calls and assist with queries in a swift and professional manner.
  • Prioritise incoming emails from all lines of business and respond in a timely manner. 
  • Assign access to critical and restricted areas of the bank to individuals, once the appropriate approval has been sought.
  • Investigate and resolve issues that may arise with employees ID cards. 
  • Ensure that documented procedures are kept up to date and spreadsheets are maintained
  • Run daily, weekly and monthly reports on a security database to ensure records are kept up to date. 
  • Post ID cards to our security representatives and members of staff throughout the EMEA region.
  • Arrange meetings, compile and distribute minutes.
  • Assist the team supervisor/manager with project work as and when required.
  • Assist office management with ad-hoc duties.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written  - ability to communicate to all levels of management and departments
  • Prioritise - ability to prioritise in a busy environment with a number of tasks
  • Proven organisational skills - ability to organise and establish an efficient process
  • Excellent IT skills (able to use Microsoft packages). Very good understanding of Excel, Word, Outlook and Access


  • A minimum of 2-3 years solid office administrative experience (Essential).
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and customer service skills (Essential).
  • Working knowledge of (Intermediate and above) Microsoft Package and Outlook (Essential).
  • Proven ability to prioritise work load on a daily basis and work under pressure (Essential).
  • Working knowledge of diary management, contract management and knowledge of Access (Desirable).
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s including English and Maths.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently.
  • Highly organized.
  • Time management.
  • Being able to prioritise and multi-task.
  • Use own initiative to improve existing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and comply with confidentiality regulations.

  • Administrative experience within a banking environment

Professional Qualifications/Education

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s including English and Maths
