As an Administrative Assistant II, you will assist the front office administration and human resources department with various tasks such as payroll and billing, assisting with group Insurance administration, processing of FMLA forms, maintaining and handling of personnel and confidential documents, assisting both internal and external customers, and other duties as directed by the Area Office management. This position will act as a liaison with security personnel and field supervision/management and ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable federal, state and local laws.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Assist management with ensuring accurate entry and posting of weekly labor and non-labor items into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), direct deposit review and submission, research and review payroll discrepancies and submit corrections via HRIS as applicable
  • Assist with filing and maintenance of non-overhead personnel documents
  • Assist the front office with answering incoming calls
  • Provide assistance to internal and external customers in the office or by telephone
  • Other duties as needed to ensure smooth operations of administrative and human resources related matters


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Prior work experience with Microsoft Office 2010 or later versions; to include Word, Excel spreadsheets and Outlook
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Minimum of 1 year of successful experience in human resources or personnel administration-related field
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll, accounting, or other related field
    • Minimum of 1 year of successful experience in customer service
