As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for administration, management, support, and quality control of all of the client’s workforce and security operations in accordance with all terms and conditions of the Contract. The Account Manager will work with all levels of management and work closely with all security staff members to fulfill contract requirements to accomplish departmental goals and objectives; plans, organizes, directs, and controls the operational and administrative activities of the contract on a day to day basis as well as proposing and implementing proactive measures to improve performance.  This individual is directly accountable for the success, performance, compliance, and public perception of the program.  This position will act as G4S liaison with the client, law enforcement agencies, customers, and employees.  In this position you will also perform general security duties in the protection of persons and property and the enforcement of all applicable policies, rules, and regulations of the client.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training of all security personnel assigned to the client’s facilities)
  • Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met and maintain all documents and records of the security workforce in the performance of their duties
  • Maintain overtime to a preset requirement designated by G4S and ensure the security workforce is scheduled in the most cost-effective and efficient manner
  • Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel assigned to the client’s facilities
  • Maintain regular daily liaison with  the client’s Security Staff, to improve security operations and quality of performance. Shall resolve or correct all complaints or concerns within a reasonable time frame and scope of authority
  • Maintain workforce discipline and morale via proactive management techniques
  • Responsible for identifying any compliance failures or investigations of any concerns or allegations pertaining to the operations or administration of the security workforce and submit written report of findings and actions to the Client and follow up with security staff
  • Prepare reports in accordance with contract requirements and as requested
  • Conduct inspections of the security workforce on all shifts in accordance with Contract requirements to measure competency, appearance, and morale; shall report finding and prepare recommendations to the Operation Manager, and client.
  • Manage the Substance Abuse Prevention Program to include oversight of testing and analysis in accordance with Contract requirements
  • Initiate, distribute and implement, post and/or special orders for the security workforce, making sure they don’t conflict or interfere with federal, state. And/or local regulations or client requirements
  • Shall maintain accurate, detailed and complete reports to support and substantiate all invoices submitted to the client
  • Shall provide the client with up to date resumes of key personnel and as changes in personnel occur
  • Shall respond 24/7 to all reports of non-compliance in accordance with the contract
  • Ensure notification to the Operation Manager and client immediately when any employee terminates or submits their intent to resign employment for the security workforce

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to meet and maintain any applicable licensing or certifications requirements (e.g. TWIC, MTSA, FEMA, AED, CPR or First Aid)
  • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess at least five years (5) of specialized security experience (military/civilian) including security laws, regulations and principles.
  • Must possess three (3) years of prior supervisory/management experience
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
    • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
    • Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
    • A minimum of 8 or more years of active service in any military branch
    • Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service

  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
