Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Primary liaison between company  and client senior management
  • General Operations management; review post orders and make recommendations to corporate security when updates should be considered; review daily log reports and provides pass downs as required; responsible for officers meeting company standards pertaining to quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all company policies and procedures including worldwide business-standard.
  • General Human Resources management; including selection and placement, performance reviews, attendance management, conflict resolution; scheduling, and payroll
  • Review  alarm system open/close reports, compile exception reports and forward to appropriate security manager/operations manager for review; 
  • Provide monthly report to the facilities and corporate security organizations detailing all pertinent activities that have occurred in the previous month concerning any security and safety issues
  • Administer G4S Safety Program; semi-annually review and revise the security Emergency Response plan
  • Conduct and document monthly testing of security systems; follow through on any corrections/maintenance issues
  • Develop/maintain operational procedures so that a valid, site-specific operations and post orders are always available for emergency reference by the security staff
  • Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific on the job training, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for security personnel.
  • Meet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime
  • Communicate and implement metric and procedural updates with Security Program Manager
  • Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account(s), maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists
  • Budget development
  • Track and report of Key Performance Indicators for Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Monthly personnel file review; assure that personnel records are updated and accurate
  • Track alarm violations and manage reporting on violators, cause and resolution
  • Review of Desk Journal, Tickets, Badge Logs, Visitor Records on a daily, weekly, monthly basis and report any deviations and implement remediation as appropriate
  • Manage Remedy tickets to ensure information is correct and status is updated
  • Track progress on broken device repairs to include vendor meetings as needed
  • Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • High school diploma or equivalent combined with the completion of college coursework within last 3 months on track for Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Organizational Development/Psychology, Business Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration or a closely related major
    • College degree in Education, Organizational Development/Psychology, Business Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration or a closely related major
  • Pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain, certification in each of the following:
    • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
    • Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
    • First Aid

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:

  • Must possess each of the following:
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a challenging supervisory role
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with complex metrics and analytical tools in a Supervisory role for a minimum of 2 years
    • A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in process improvement, productivity, or program development

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Environment:         Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat

Major activity:        Working on PC, walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing
