The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for an Access Control Program Manager. As an Access Control Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring implementation and compliance with client physical and electronic access control policy as well as visitor management system.  This position oversees and ensures all electronic access is programmed according to employee status to include the visitor management program.  This position coordinates with the client, contract companies and employees to investigate, troubleshoot, and oversee access control policies are adhered.  This position will act as G4S Secure Solutions liaison on behalf of the client with the customers and employees.  This position creates and produces required and requested reports as needed and provides workflow and project assignments to the Program Coordinator.

** $2,000 bonus payable after 90 days of continuous employment. Bonus amount is subject to applicable federal and state income withholdings. **

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Oversee the utilization and implementation of a variety of computer programs and badge making machines used to protect and safeguard customers property and assets
  • Develop, implement and maintain access control policy and procedures
  • Design and implement electronic access control and physical access control elements to ensure the protection and safety of customer employees, assets and brand name
  • Ensure the team is tracking and maintaining security reports to ensure that all records are up to date and in compliance
  • Control and drive process improvement to the visitor management program
  • Manage and lead the team who will research, investigate, and compile information related to access control and visitor management
  • Communicate compliance requirements to ensure the badging stations are kept abreast of the security access control needs
  • Determine best course of action to minimize exposure to critical areas using all elements of access control
  • Oversight on access control and visitor management to client and customers
  • Manage access control provisioning process for new sites:
    • Connect with numerous teams (GSST, Bizapps, DC local teams) to understand business requirements and controls
    • Setup door groups to clearances with GSST
    • Add new sites and clearances to manage access with Bizapps
  • Data Center Access Validations
    • Monitor access validation dashboard and deadlines are met to ensure IA and EY audits are passed. 
    • Leased DC access validations are completed monthly via dropbox, and quarterly via tasks, monitor completion of each leased DC access list validation and follow up as necessary to ensure monthly and quarterly compliance 

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of security management experience related to access control and visitor management

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail


  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible schedules to include evenings and weekends
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:  Indoor with minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures

Major activity:  Working on a PC while sitting, speaking, listening, observing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Sitting, observing, typing.  Minimal standing or walking.  Little to no reaching, or kneeling.
