The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for an Access Control Program Coordinator. As an Access Control Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring implementation and compliance with client physical and electronic access control policy as well as visitor management system in support of the Access Control Program Manager.  This position will ensure all electronic access is programmed according to employee status to include the visitor management program.  This position coordinates with the client, contract companies and employees to investigate, troubleshoot, and oversee access control policies are adhered and provides the appropriate training to end users and stakeholders on the application and use of the Access Control program tools.  This position creates and produces required and requested reports as needed and performs periodic reviews of all written policies, procedures and processes at the tasking of the Program Manager.

** $2,000 bonus payable after 90 days of continuous employment. $250 referral bonus payable after 30 days of continuous employment. Bonus amount is subject to applicable federal and state income withholdings.**

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Support and coordinate access control provisioning process for new sites:
    • Develop and maintain functional relationships with numerous teams (GSST, Bizapps, DC local teams) 
    • Review door groups/clearances with space owners to ensure accuracy
    • Train DC leaders and GSDC staff on access
    • How to use the tools (manage access, vms, vwop)
    • How to use the dashboards associated with each tool
    • Training on the access, visitor, vendor policies
  • Policies, procedures, processes:
    • Periodic reviews of all written policies, procedures, processes with the Access Control Program Manager and update with any changes
    • Keep all wikis up to date, ensure links are valid, review and update when necessary
  • Support quarterly audit of global approver lists
  • Track and maintain security reports to ensure that all records are up to date and in compliance
  • Support and drive process improvement to the visitor management program
  • DC Access Validations
    • Track user activity via the validation dashboard to ensure compliance and escalate lapses
    • Follow up with leaders from each DC who provide validations to ensure quarterly access validations are complete
    • Provide support to the Program Manager to ensure Leased DC access validations are completed monthly via Dropbox, and quarterly via tasks, identifying any potential incomplete validations and escalate as necessary
  • Provide necessary support during access tooling pilots to potentially include collecting feedback from DCs/Bizapps and requests for tool improvement 
    • Fully research implications and business requirements of any physical changes to the delivery of access control methodology and configuration
    • Provide detailed reports with findings, conclusions and recommendations
  • Provide Access Tooling Updates 
    • Collect, collate and format information from stakeholders for inclusion in ongoing communications and updates related to access tools


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of security management experience related to access control and visitor management

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible schedules to include evenings and weekends
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:  Indoor with minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures

Major activity:  Working on a PC while sitting, speaking, listening, observing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Sitting, observing, typing.  Minimal standing or walking.  Little to no reaching, or kneeling.
