Business Development Manager

We are looking for a high-performing, strategically minded Business Development Manager to spearhead regional growth through effective client engagement, robust pipeline development and the delivery of winning bids and proposals with client value at the core.

In this dynamic role, you will champion our premier physical security solutions while strategically planning market engagement and cross-selling a wide range of service lines to deliver absolute value to the end client. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop Client Relationships: Cultivate deep, trusted-advisor relationships with prospective and existing clients, moving beyond transactional selling to understand their long-term security vulnerabilities and strategic goals.

  • Own the Pipeline & Engagement Strategy: Drive the full sales lifecycle from targeted prospecting and robust engagement planning to drive opportunities through the sales cycle at pace, establishing a clear right to win to drive revenue and outcome success. 

  • Master the Bid Process: Lead and orchestrate the end-to-end bid management process, coordinating with bid writers, commercial analysts and subject matter experts to deliver compelling, compliant, and high quality winning proposals.

  • Deliver High-Impact Presentations: Develop the story and confidently deliver compelling, customer pitches and solutions-focused presentations to key decision makers and internal stakeholders to secure buy-in and winning outcomes.

  • Navigate Internal Relationships: Act as the critical bridge between sales and support functions; foster strong internal relationships with operational, financial, and legal teams to ensure commercial viability and seamless service mobilisation.

  • Agile approach: Utilise deep market insights and data-driven intelligence to adapt to market conditions and position G4S as the undisputed provider of choice.

  • Revenue attainment: Drive to exceed yearly revenue targets.

  • Master Negotiator: You effectively navigate objections, influence senior stakeholders, and structure mutually beneficial sales outcomes.

  • Self-Starter: You thrive autonomously but leverage a collaborative internal team to drive success.

  • Confident presenter:  You are a highly articulate communicator who commands the room, possessing the poise and agility to confidently deliver compelling and thoughtful presentations to win
