Site Security Manager

Position: Site Security Manager (Construction)
Location: Raheen, Limerick
Basic Pay: €55,000 per annum
Schedule: Monday-Friday - 06:00 - 16:00 

Due to the nature of this role, A full Manual Irish Driving Licence, safepass and manual handling certificate are required for this role.

Main purpose of position:

• To support and lead the day-to-day security operations/administration requirements reporting directly to the G4S Security Contract Manager and Client stakeholders.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all security related matters for the client , advising and acting as an exemplar of security best practice.

• Ensure that excellent communications and relationships are developed with all local stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are understood and met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Security Team

• Day to day management Security

• Promoting a positive working relationship in security

• Management of security procedures

• Mentor an assistant supervisor to ensure succession plan

• Site contact for Gardai.

• Oversee monthly metrics for G4s owned systems and collaboration areas

• Manage G4S roster

• Lead security assessor for third party vendors 

• Positive improvements in the above and leverage his team to deliver these improvements

• Manage the construction security group in particular with a view to having redundancy for main site

• Known Consigner Support

• Site Security/Project CCTV Upgrade.

• Training presentations/staff training G4S

• Day to day supervision of  site access control system / turnstiles.

• Camera Policy/Pass

• Management of MCG Cabinets & contents

• Support security incident investigations

• Support Fire alarm Isolation procedure (for new system)

• Support Sprinkler troubleshooting

• Support Security/ERT strategy audits, and inspections

• Undertake continuous improvement process for ERT / Security

Skills, knowledge and experience:

• 3+ years management experience in the security industry

• Proven track record in customer relations management

• Experience is staff training and program building

• Proven leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.

• Results focus

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities

• Computer literate -ECDL level required

• Level of knowledge of a Pharmaceutical environment or experience beneficial.

• PSA licenced 

• English Language Level: C2 

• Experience in record management.

• Numerical – needs to understand/control budgets and can operate a standard payroll system.

• IT – must be able to interpret and manipulate data pulled from different security related software such as Access Control and CCTV.
