About the Opportunity:

Join G4S at Mount Gambier Prison in a newly created role designed to support our HR and Training functions. Reporting directly to a highly experienced HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our workforce remains compliant, skilled, and well-supported.

In this role you will:

• Manage logistics for staff training, including enrolments, attendance tracking, and liaising with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
• Proactively monitor employee certifications, licences, and mandatory training expiries to ensure 100% workforce readiness.
• Maintain meticulous digital and physical employee files and HR management systems.
• Generate detailed monthly compliance and operational reports regarding onboarding, probations, and training status.
• Provide confidential assistance during HR investigations and disciplinary matters, and handle general office duties.

What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking an experienced individual to manage a high-volume workload of employee and training documentation for over 150 staff members.

• At least 2 years of professional administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in L&D administration or a foundational understanding of HR policies and compliance.
• High computer literacy with the ability to manage complex schedules and extract data for reporting.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging with internal stakeholders and external providers.
• The ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with absolute discretion.
• Experience within an educational, corporate learning, or correctional setting.

Requirements

• Must be able to successfully pass numerous background checks.
• A valid Driver's Licence
