About the role and team

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Resource & Rostering Coordinator to join the G4S Human Resources team.

In the role you will provide comprehensive workforce management support, primarily focusing on accurate and timely payroll-related processes, roster management, and employee data maintenance for a wide range of business units.

As the central point of contact you will manage pay, leave, and contracted hours inquiries with precision and care. This role demands exceptional stakeholder management skills, as you will be collaborating daily with diverse teams spread across Australia, with a heavy focus on VIC, NSW, and WA.

In the role you will

  • Create and maintain accurate and efficient rosters, address roster conflicts, adjust shifts as needed.
  • Support contracts and internal stakeholders in maintaining accurate timesheets and ensuring compliance with agreements and policies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all communication related to schedules, pay, leave, and general inquiries from employees and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and process fortnightly pay period close requirements.
  • Provide advice and resolutions for a broad range of UKG-related queries.
  • Provide coverage for leave and possible ad hoc support in broader business areas.
  • Provide ongoing administration and support.

What we're looking for

  • Experience using UKG is highly desirable.
  • An understanding of award interpretation and industrial relations.
  • Previous experience in a similar role ideally working across multiple enterprise agreements and awards.
  • Experience with rostering with a strong focus on compliance.
