Role Responsibility:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordination of training for JPT operational staff;
  • Ensure that all training is conducted within the parameters of the Operational Instructions, Emergency Orders and managerial directives;
  • Ensure staff are conversant and compliant with the applicable Occupational Health and Safety policies;
  • Co-ordinate staff and Instructors to attend sessions as per the Training Forecast;
  • Review and update the training plan and required material such as presentations, attendance sheet and assessments, which will need to be printed off to facilitate training for JPT operational staff;
  • Identify staff and training venues for training;
  • Ensure all tools and equipment for the training session are operational and available;
  • Conduct and facilitate training effectively;
  • Monitor the mentoring of new recruits during and after training;

The Ideal Candidate:

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Required Cert 4 in Training and Assessment TAE
  • Deseriable Cert 3 in Correctional Practice 
  • Demonstrated previous experience in the development of training packages and delivery of training courses;
  • Proven ability to work successfully and effectively in a small team environment;
  • Strong resilient nature to deliver constructive support on a daily basis
  • Ability to deal with challenging situations
  • Approachable and humble disposition
