Job Introduction:

As a Security Intelligence Operations Center Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of SIOC Operators in answering calls for assistance, mitigate and lead emergency communications, encouraging positive interaction, and promote a safe work environment.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Provide timely communications and actionable intelligence to support the protection of people, assets/intellectual property, and infrastructure of center and related interests/entities
  • Serve as the hub for the monitoring, analysis, and interpretation of risks and threats that may affect the business and ensure all systems, both hardware and software, are functioning properly, and immediately notify appropriate stakeholders when they are not
  • Provide technical support to local, domestic, and global sites with regard to systems programming, access control, IT, networking, new site design, badging coordination for employees and Management of Security Systems Technical Support Program
  • Identify and communicate daily all critical items requiring the attention of senior management and coordinate with Security Operations Managers to provide necessary documentation in support of uniformed guard force activity (e.g., Officer Dispatch, Incident Reporting, etc.)
  • Ensure Operators have the correct training and tools; Report any deficiencies to SIOC Manager
  • Support global system needs, coordinate global service requests and maintenance with all system vendors
  • Assist and manage Security Systems team with Doors, lock and key program administration, Master Key System Management, and door maintenance program
  • Ensure all SIOC training materials are up to date and maintained

 


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Minimum three (3) years work experience in security field
  • Experience supervising personnel and resources for the successful operation of a 911-Center and/or Central Station Operation that is centered around the use of technology
  • Work history must include each of the following:
    • Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency; able to delegate tasks, and communicate to a range of audiences including to executive management
    • Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills
    • Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance, monitoring of assets, and making rapid notifications via mass communication tools
    • Demonstration of strong computer skills (hardware, software & network operations) with the ability to communicate effectively with IT and Security Systems professionals

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ease with written or verbal communication
  • Proficiency in company policies, Safety and Security programs, and Lenel On Guard access control system
  • Able to work flexible schedules with limited travel, respond to contingencies during regular and non-business hours, and perform operational duties in an emergency
  • Ability to analyze problems, determine root causes, and identify results oriented solutions
  • Possess a highly polished and professional demeanor, and superior customer service skills
  • Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat

Major activity: Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, lifting, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
